Two cops interdicted for bad conduct

Two police officers who had involved themselves in a brawl and behaved in an unruly manner allegedly under the influence of liquor in a police barrack at Karuwalagaswewa last night were interdicted by the Puttalam Division SP.

The police officers who were injured in the brawl were admitted to the Puttalam Hospital.

According to reports an issue over Rs. 1,000 had triggered the dispute.(Hiran Jayasinghe)
