Why choose 9.25 to commemorate this national event.? The first place to be hit was the east coast at 5.20. You only have to go to Trinco market and see the clock. It shows 5.20 am. Are the Eastern Prov. people not Lankans? Second point: FROM 5.20 AM to 925 is four hours elapse time. Why dont we honour the dead in the South by prosecuting all the officials who caused their deaths..

It is time to forget the past and move on. Most people have done so. It is only the ones that want to make a fast buck still talk of the tsunami.

it wasn't 5.20 at Trinco, but definitely 9:05 when the wave hit Batticaloa. 9.25 was when the wave hit Hambantota and started affecting Sinhalese. sri Lanka is a Sinhala only country, you see... the rest simply doesn't exist because we don't have minorities anymore.
