Dear transport minister,
You always travelling through that road. Don't you have an idea to put a gate.
Dr Sarath Tuesday, 25 June 2013 07:12 PM
Transport minister didn't want to solve this problem with my locally invented " SOLAR POWERED, RADIO CONTROLLED FULLY AUTOMATIC RAIL GATE ". Director General of Railways didn't reply for the project proposal I submitted to him on 14th Jan 2013. So I fixed it at my compound !. Suba Anaagathayak !
Dr Sarath Tuesday, 25 June 2013 07:28 PM
Price of a man operated,Railway Crossing Barrier with Lights & Siren is 6.5 million Rs !. Without a barrier, Bell & Lights system cost 4.5 million Rs !. My locally made automatic system cost only less than one million !!!. Now it's clear.... isn't it ! . This was published in most of the electronic & printed media including Daily Mirror. So far...No response from the authorities ...Wonder of Asia !

What is the minimum number of lives to be lost to place a simple railway gate?

Minister Welgama and Secretary to the Defense, There are more than 30,000 of Civil Security Forces employees without a proper duty. Pls. make use of them as gate-men in unprotected level crossings with at least a Bamboo Gate ("Una Bambu Gates") to protect valuable human lives.

Ganegama railway crossing is a dangerous railway crossing without a gate or atleast a signal light. I escaped several times at this place. I hope the authorities will try to find a solution for this at least with Dr. Sarath's locally made rail gate.

There are many unprotected railway crossings throughout the country. In most of these crossings, motorists cannot get a clear view of both sides as there are several obstacles. It realy puts the lives of travellers in danger. As it is a need of the society, the relevant authorities should take immediate action to fix railway gates along with an employee at each gate, at least during the day time.
