Three wheel drivers are a law unto themselves. The government should look at putting up properly operated railway gates and not just bamboo make shift ones that do not serve the purpose, as those operating them are no where near when the train is on track.

Why cant Railway Department Install a propper alarm system. This is an advanced world. Atleast a signal light can installed to these unprorectd crossings without much expense.

Totally agree with what u said. Billions of funds wasted on Satellite, who is benefiting ? is it the general public ? No..
But the innocent public gets killed like this and no action taken. What a country, what a governance ? God bless SL citizens

This is the price to be paid for all reckless drivers whether it be two, three or four wheel. Even with the crossing protected I have seen "stunt" motor cyclists creep through the barriers to cross over and some even have a pillion rider.

Three Wheeler Drivers have already become a menace to the country. This is further aggravated with the influx of new Three wheelers to roads. No pedestrian is safe on the road now as well as the travelers in threewheelers.

The land where value of human lives are ZERO. This would ne another forgotten incident tomorrow. Authorities in Sri Lanka are busy making money and wouldn't give two hoots for this incident. This is a tragedy but Sri Lanka itself is a tradedy now.

three wheeler drivers and army vehicle drivers have become a menace now a days.

Why speak of three wheels and drivers..... There are reckless drivers in all forms, not only three wheeler.
Why not ask why gates are not installed at crossings and they are manned.
We are sending Satellites but have no budget to install gates and man them,.... What a pathetic situation...
Truly this is miracle of Asia...............
