Patriot Friday, 27 April 2012 11:39 AM
Poor Sri Lanka ! First the tamils and now the muslims. Whose next ? come on give us a break.
Gamini Udagepola Friday, 27 April 2012 03:49 PM
You are wrong here, First Sinhalese/Buddhists. (71 & 89), Pillaie and the gang were sleeping then. Think again again pls.
senthil Friday, 27 April 2012 04:29 PM
people protesting against an injustice are terrorist?
and who says majority of the people feel it is justified. Even if people like you feel so it is still incorrect
Shelton Fernando Friday, 27 April 2012 05:19 PM
Tamils alone are a much bigger community in the world compared to Sinhalese. World muslims put together with Tamils would be much bigger - eventually we sinhalese will be a nwgligible fraction in the world. If we continue this way we will be at the dead end soon!
vipula Gunasekera Friday, 27 April 2012 06:49 PM
A fantastic protests, let the leaders know what is rule of law and infringement of human rights The should know what would happend if rights and privileges are denied in a democratic country. No one should be allowed to take the law into one's hands. Muslim leaders and politicians wake up and solve this problem at the nip of the bud.
Abdul Friday, 27 April 2012 10:24 AM
This is ridiculous... What's the point is protesting? Should make Dua, not this...
xlntgson Saturday, 28 April 2012 01:52 AM
Majority is minority in some places, vice versa, therefore democracy is not always the rule of majority, that is playing to the gallery! Think before texting 71% 89% etc.
Nodrog Saturday, 28 April 2012 05:00 AM
Whatever happened to the values and lessons taught by Lord Buddha? What happened to respect for other religions and tolerance?
Fusion Saturday, 28 April 2012 06:04 AM
See the problem in SL is you get a lot of 'Sinhala Buddhists'. There are plenty of normal Buddhists but that special breed have their own set of laws. Buddhism is independent of any race, caste, wealth, power, etc, but 'Sinhala Buddhists' are just the opposite. I mean what happened to 'Mettā'?
Fusion Saturday, 28 April 2012 06:07 AM
Huh? Peaceful protests are an essential part of democracy! I am Buddhists, but right now I can say I am proud of the behaviour of Muslims in SL considering the extreme provocation in Dambulla!
Fazil Saturday, 28 April 2012 06:04 AM
we all are srilankans none of the religions allow the practicer to hurt other religion. we all have to think of the development of our country rather than fighting !!
UK - Muslim Saturday, 28 April 2012 08:29 AM
Brothers & Sister , Fight for you rights but please don't inconveniance the genral public . We need their support. Once a Mosque/Budhis or Tamil Temple or a Churche is built It must not come down.
THUMPANE MODAYA Saturday, 28 April 2012 05:41 PM
TO WORSHIP GOD YOU DO NOT NEED A BUILDING!!!

M.H.A.SADATH Wednesday, 02 May 2012 08:54 AM

Protest is not the correct version to earn anything. In the mean time attacking to any other religion is not acceptable. We have to respect each other to respect us.
Yehiya Friday, 27 April 2012 10:17 AM
These all making more problems. Small note of paper can do lot with Mrs. Navanitham pilli.
Ralph Anthony Kern Friday, 27 April 2012 10:15 AM
The dogs may bark, but the caravan continues its journey. Do not give in to this terrorist. they kill each other in the name of Religion. The majority feels that demolition is justified. .
Dilrukshi Gomes Friday, 27 April 2012 10:13 AM
