Likewise if more countries acted like USA & the EU the Sri Lanka Govt. also would have no option other that finding a real solution for the ethnic problem.

China helps lots of poor countrys including sri lanaka, for return china will get sea basess and minerals, and china will always helps state governtments not the minority peoples plitical issues, poor TNA sholud learn this.

If more countries acted like China the TNA would have no option but to have a more meaningful and honest dialogue with the Govt instead of washing their dirty linen all over the world. TNA should be smarter and realize others are making use of the issue to further their own interest by keeping the issues burning on.

Most probably, ing they must have thought going to and for India had not helped them at all in the past and thought may be the Chinese would be better, Anyway, their strategy seems to be set China against India and then watch the fireworks sitting in Sri Lanka.

I am not sure what these TNA jokers are doing wasting their time talking to foreign embassy officials! They should be talking to the president with regard the construction of Army camps in the North. The Chinese are only doing a business deal with Sri Lankan government. We also wish to know whether the land belong to any particular person? Or is it government land?
I fully agree with the Chinese ambassador who had been non-committal in his approach and stated that the issues between the government and the TNA should be resolved through dialogue.

TNA and its cronies should retire in a home for the aged. They are useless for the Tamil people because they preach communalism. TNA needs people who will gel better with all communities and show their true commitment to Sri Lanka.

With powere there should be responsibility. Hope the Srilankan government could be a good example of other third world countries with similar issues.
