Mayu, Jaffna is still a hot-spot with LTTE remnants still running around trying to incite the people, so the SLA has to be there. Its as easy as that but seems still so hard for people to comprehend.

I think Sampanthan got a point but I don't accept his military strategy. My house in Jaffna occupied by the Army, Can I go and stay at Sampanthan's house.

You poor man, have you no place to live now that the army is in occupation? Is the army paying you rent? They should. Sampanthan will say yes if you pay him rent I am sure!!!!!!!!!

Sampathan is mad to say in parilement, while accepting LTTE problem, he wasted his speeach time .He should have listed about Army attrocities and should have asked how many army police, paramiltary, intelligence, and government policy issues with regard to withdrwal. I had a good repect over Sampathan now he is another Karuna for Tamils.By saying tigers he has become Army firend.Dies he wants army to look afte university of Jaffana.

The army will stay. Mr S has spoken enough on the matter and the decision is not his but the govt.
