You can be politically blind and stupid but did MR start the war? or did he finish it? mm..
Hamzie, Merging the two provinces wasn't a requirement at all even in 1987, just under terrorists' request India forced it on JR and it remained. Where did you read the 'Government' in this article? It's not a government priority, it is some Tamil politicians are bringing it up.
C. Senthilan Monday, 08 November 2010 01:55 AM
No; it is not the case here. He will have no chance to hold any position in the North-East merged Prov. Council.... all power hungry people not hesitating to sacrifice the common man for the lust of power of their own...vultures in other words.
C. Senthilan Monday, 08 November 2010 01:52 AM
That means, as in the past the party in power is going to say that we cannot do anything until they are united! What a joke peculiar to this country.

Let the country be as it is. Live as neighbors will ya? No animosity, hatred or division. IF we could have lived like that before independence and after, why not now? It's politicians with ulterior motives who want divisions. THINK as SRI-LANKANS' and not by race or religion IF our country is to prosper.
When the BRITISH let the countries that they ruled, they made sure they incited 2 communities so that they will be in war with each other and seek the MASTERS help for arbitration. their philosophy is DIVIDE AND RULE.
