Thunder showers expected

Thunder showers will develop in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and Galle and Matara districts this evening while lighting and localized strong winds can also be expected, the Meteorological Department told Daily Mirror online.

The Eastern, Central, North Central provinces including the Hambantota Districts will also experience occasional showers during the day. The public is advised to take precautions from lighting that is likely to develop during these showers. (Gandhya Senanayake)
