Three in the same family including a three year old child died due to electrical shock in Mathurata due to illegal tapping of electricity, the police said.

According to the police they had attempted to connect the electricity line in to the fence surrounding their house in order to keep away wild boars and other wild animals.

The magisterial inquiry is to be conducted by the Walapane Magistrate today, police media spokesman Ajith Rohana said. (SD)

The present govt is the cause for all these tragic incidents. The govt Ministers and MPP are behaving like wild animals and people are compelled to r deal with them in whatever way to protect their cultivation. All guns are issued to drugs dealers and thugs and murderers and genuine cultivators are deprived of weapons to protect their produce. May god bless their souls.

It is even worse when you come to know that 3 year old infant also a victim of this mishap. :-(
