Three drown during picnic

Two students and a hostel warden from the Sirajia Arabic College who were in a group that went out on a picnic this morning had reportedly drowned in a tank near Kattuwampul in Welikada after going for a swim.The body of the hostel warden has been found, while two students are still missing, school sources said. When madrasa (arabic college) students are taken on a tour there should be clear & strict instruction and guidance to be given to avoid any negligence.

Sri Lanka is surrounded by water and not even one in ten could swim. Its time all schools teach children how to swim.
