Thirteen policemen transferred

Thirteen policemen attached to the Minuwangoda police station have been transferred with immediate effect, the Police Headquarters said

However the police noted that the transfers were made due to service requirement. They were transfer to several police stations within the Minuwangoda Police Division.

    Ha, Ha. Now we know the real meaning of this phrase: "due to service requirement". It really means that the cops had been upto something mischievous!
