Tension in Pepiliyana

A tense situation was reported from Pepiliyana this evening when a leading textile shop was attack by a group of people, sources said.

It is learnt that several people received minor injuries including a journalist from a private TV channel. The building and a vehicle were also damaged in the attack.

However, the police brought the situation under control.
