Minister,Mr.Bandula Gunawardana,Your idea is excellent. It is about time that Srilanka had Laws and Rules to match the standards of the Western world.I felt extremely happy to read it.It is extremely unfortunate for the youngsters to suffer like this. Not only the youngsters, their parents too have to suffer.

Ragging is a form of sadistic behaviour resorted to by a minute fraction of the students. It is a matter for great regret that the vast majority of the student population who do not condone this indecent behaviour in their midst choose to remain silent observers without taking any collective action to bring an end to the recurring disgrace.

It is a very good step taken by the Minister of Education. The ragging maniac should be eradicated from Institutions of Higher Education. The students behind this ragging should be punished for the indecent and inhuman acts that the seniors demand from the newcomers.

There shouldn't be any ragging anywhere at all.
Thos who rag freshers should be dealt with harshly.
Ragging is simply bullying, and bullying should not be allowed anywhere, whether it is workplace, shcool, or university.
Say no to bullying.

Good move, They should not only expel but dealt under the normal civil low of harnessing the people. Media should publish the photos of those as well.
