While making a fresh appeal to release former Army commander Sarath Fonseka, Opposition leader Ranil Wickremesinghe said in Parliament this monring that Pakistan should be taken as an example and all political prisoners in Sri Lanka should be released. (KB/YP)

There were political prisoners in Pakistan when Army dictators were ruling. They are now released since a democratic government is ruling Pakistan.
