Suspension on Lankaenews lifted

The Pugoda Magistrate Court a short while ago ordered to lift the suspension on Lanka-e-news news website and also to release its journalist Shantha Wijesooriya.

On April 28, the Magistrate ordered to suspend the activities of Lanka e News website when the case against Lanka e news journalist Shantha Wijesooriya who was arrested by the Kirindiwala police on April 25, 2011 for allegedly committing contempt of court by publising a news item, was taken up.

Court has taken action against contempt of court.what we can do against for false report and fabricated news published against individuals by so called media people.
