State bank manager remanded
The Colombo Fort Magistrate today remanded the Assistant Manager of a leading state bank in Colombo, for allegedly soliciting bribes in return for the promise of employment.
The female manageress of the Head Office of the state bank is alleged to have solicited 500,000 Rs each from each from two residents of Matale.
The Manageress was remanded till July 19th.
