Video: A monk attacked once again in Chennai

A group of Sri Lankan tourists was attacked by three unidentified persons at Central railway station on Monday. The incident happened when the 16 tourists alighted from Tamil Nadu Express that reached the city from New Delhi.

Nobody was injured though two Sri Lankans were targeted. Sources said that the attackers fled after the assault.

"A video footage is available but it may be difficult to trace them because the men were wearing caps," said a railway police official. (Source: Times of India)

This is appalling. I felt very humiliated watching this innocent monk who didn’t react in anyway. We issue over the counter visa for Indians & welcome them. They in return attack our monks, our people, they fish illegally in our seas destroying our sea bed and will vote against us at the UNHCR. Are we this weak? Don’t we have self respect? Can we just ask them to get lost? They have never been a friendly nation to us.

At least India responses to these attacks.. They have arrested earlier the person who attacked the monk in Trichy, and when ever there is a problem, Police has tried to take action.. Is this happening in SL...? When Kovil and Mosques attacked in Dambulla, was anyone arrested..?
