Sri Lankan swindles Kuwaiti

KUWAIT CITY-  A Sri Lankan expatriate swindled a Kuwaiti citizen of KD 350 and disappeared after promising to bring a housemaid from his country within 25 days. According to security sources, the Kuwaiti citizen lodged a complaint at South Surra Police Station, stating that the suspect had taken the money from him after promising to bring a housemaid from Sri Lanka within 25 days.

However, when the Kuwaiti citizen tried to contact him after the specified period, the mobile phone was switched off and he was unable to find him after searching around for him. Securitymen took down the details of the suspect and filed a case for investigations to find and arrest him. (Arab News)
