The reason is nonsence ...now the situation is very normal in Manner area ...schools are functioning properly and the 2014 GCE o/l results shows there is tremendous improvement in the educational sector ..even the religious services are in full strength in all faiths ...a new church is opened couple of days ago ..madhu festival have large gatherings ..popes visit confirms the livehood is normal..THIS REFLECTS VERY BAD IMAGE IN SRI LANKA ..send them back to their home land ..

The so called situation is normal is a relative matter. When people are not treated equal in every sense of the word, there would be many feel threatened in their own country. If they did not feel so, they would not have taken the journey back again to India. Let us respect others wish for freedom from whatever they fear for.

Yeah, the Hindu temples in the Mannar district are being used for tourism! Even mid-day services are rescheduled to allow Sinhalese tourists to witness them when they arrive. Sure, that sounds like progress to me, because who cares about the Hindus (who are predominantly Tamils)?
