Sri Lanka were set a target of 378 to win the first test against Australia, after the visitors were bowled out for 210 a short while ago, with Rangana Herath picking up five for 79.
Having scored 273 in the first innings the Sri Lankans were bowled out for 105, conceding a lead of 178, to which the Aussies added another 210.
Continuing from their over-night score of 115 for 6, Australia’s tail-enders put up a fight with Trent Copeland and Ryan Harris making helpful contributions of 23 each, the former remaining undefeated.
Captain Michael Clarke top scored for the Aussies with 60.

Well said. Sri Lanka is the only test playing nation that does not have 'Consistency" in their dictionary. Sometimes they are good. At times they are bad and most times they are shamelessly pathatic!!!!!!!!!!!
