better have a side for ladies, and ladies prefer to go with gents can select other side.
Sue Saturday, 07 December 2013 07:02 AM
we just don't believe what the minister has to say. Can he give survey figures and how he carried it out because I think he's talking rubbish. 90% of women would rather travel with peace of mind rather than be harassed by men. So come on Mr. Minister, let's have an island wide survey done and see what the majority of women have to say.

A very interesting methodology he seemed to have adopted to verify the choice of female passengers. Is it only in SL, we have these type of ministers or elsewhere as well? India, Pakistan, Bangladesh may have politician of similar calibre

Seems they enjoy the 'abuse' but were just too shy to admit it. But at least now we know.
sanju Friday, 06 December 2013 07:24 AM

Mr. Welgama has asked only a selected few. There are many women who like to travel on women only buses and trains/compartments
Nihal Friday, 06 December 2013 05:13 AM
You can't go against the Nature. Men need women and women need men
