Sri Lanka win toss and bat against India

Sri Lanka will bat against India after winning the toss for Tuesday's one-day international at Adelaide Oval.

India recalled star batsman Sachin Tendulkar, who was rested for their last-over triumph over Australia in Adelaide on Sunday.

The Indians, with two wins from three games, rested paceman Zaheer Khan.

Sri Lanka, having lost their opening two games, recalled spinner Rangana Herath with paceman Dhammika Prasad ruled out by a hamstring strain for a day-night fixture to start in hot conditions.


India: MS Dhoni (capt), Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Vinay Kumar, Umesh Yadav, Irfan Pathan, Praveen Kumar (12th man)
