Sri Lanka qualified for the quarter-finals of the Cricket World Cup following an emphatic 139 run win against Zimbabwe at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy a short while ago.

Sri Lanka is currently placed first in Group A having played 5 games, with New Zealand placed second and Pakistan and Australia placed 3rd and 4th respectively. Sri Lanka plays its final group game against New Zealand on Friday March 18 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

    Dilshan should have given more than two overs in his first spell. Then he would have achieved the feat 5 wickets & 100 runs for the first time in the world cup. Recently Yuvaraj completed 5 and 50.
