There are many job opportunities for teachers and nurses in Seychelles, Maldives and Malaysia. These opportunities are usually grabbed by Indians as their respective ministries and agencies coordinate well with these countries to get these jobs. Wonder why our authorities pay don't get some of these opportunities for our teachers and nurses too.

Another iron curtain regime. We seem to like all 'aadhiwaasi' looking guys. For a bottle of Scotch or for few dollars you can do magic there.

The kind of bilateral relationship is strange... From India-China-Russia-Iran-Libya-Qatar-Swaziland to Seychelles. First three countries are powerful in the world and strategically important to SL both economically and politically. Qatar is also an economically strong country. Iran is an oil rich nation & sri Lankan’s main oil supplier. But the question is about other three countries. The Gov must have bilateral talks with other economically and politically powerful countries in the world targeting on our exports related industry and on long term investments in the country.

there are plenty of nursing and teaching opportunities here in SL. First fill the domestic needs, don't blindly follow India, they are a very large country with surplus of these resources
