Seventy year old dies in race

A seventy year old man died this morning while participating at a veteran’s race held at a New Year festival,  organised by the local government body, in Rambukkana.

The man had been running in the veteran’s category. He had collapsed after running close to 2 kilo meters after which he was rushed to the hospital. He was found dead on admission.
