Seven out of ten Muslim fishermen who were lost at sea last week after setting out to fish near the coast of Arugam bay were rescued by multi day fishing trawlers in the Tangalle area. Three boats were also recovered, while a boat with three fishermen is still missing.
The Pottuvil police are conducting further investigations. (dailymirror online)

What is the relevance of mentioning the religion of the fishermen? Do you say Christian fishermen from Negombo? Buddhist fishermen from Kalutara? Hindu fishermen from Mannar?
