PLEASE STOP sending maids to foreign countries. Encourage them to join the work force in SL to preserve their families and their own dignity!

I have seen so many incidents in Sri Lanka, husband kills wife for having illicit sex with neighbor. Is that fair to be killed in banana republic?
Wesley Sunday, 29 November 2015 05:41 PM
Seems some people underestimate value of a human lives. Some are trying to justify this unfortunate verdict referring various incidents. As per one of the comments someone is justifying that this punishment is reasonable and negligible compare to killing their wives by husband due to sudden anger, argument or illicit affairs. I would like to mention that the reader should not misunderstand that few isolated cases of accident event and this should not be mixed together. First of all any kind of killings are not going to be accepted by any civilized society. I wonder the guy who comments such has mother or not?

First, Sri Lanka should recall their ambassador as he seems to be working for the Saudi Gov. instead of Sri Lankan gov. This guy seems to approve the barbaric customs in the name of religion and adores the savagery. He has forgotten his duties which are to protect, serve and safeguard Sri Lankan citizens and their interest. This nincompoop politically appointed clown should learn a lesson or two from the experienced diplomats. Here is a video article of human rights violations from Saudi Arabia which demonstrates how uncivilized bunch of savages in charge of ruling the kingdom:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfvnjulS5ygAll citizens of Sri Lanka should rally and protest in front of this so called ambassador’s house and in front of the Saudi embassy in Sri Lanka. These medieval representatives and savages should have not be given any place of civilized work.

The cause of all these issues are due to lack of knowledge and ignorance. If Saudis have some form of law it should be abide by not only the citizens of that country but all who are visiting also. But the matter of the fact is we all get to know about these issues only when it seems too late to do anything. In the case of Rizana the country got to know about it after she admitted that she killed the child and this case only after this woman has admitted four time that she committed adultery. What the hell is the embassy in Saudi doing? They should be more proactive. Wait and see, all our effort in this regard will go waste and the woman will be killed. I am so sorry to say this but.
