The Court Martial may be part of the legal system. But was the Court Martial ruling on a retired Army General valid and binding? That is what we would like to know?

    Minister Tuesday, 25 January 2011 09:19 AM

Now let us ask if the court martial ruling was in line with the legal system!

    Minister Tuesday, 25 January 2011 10:14 AM

    Jameel, The answer is YES!

Suren Soysa Wednesday, 26 January 2011 01:54 AM

If expected why go to Courts.

    Citizen Saturday, 29 January 2011 06:51 AM

Does this mean, such Courts also come under the purview of the Chief Justice? As we all know the Chief Justice is the Head of the Courts in the country. If this is not would it have the validity of the court, for which CJ is responsible? Can the country have two Heads for courts of law - one under Chief Justice and the other Army Commander. Doesn't sound comical?

    Marizelle Tuesday, 25 January 2011 02:45 PM

who says its final? you can go to International Court, like in thhe Hedging case!

    Aazath Tuesday, 25 January 2011 10:49 AM

Yea, it’s true for army personals while on service but can’t apply for Retired Army General SF.
