Sanath's jeep in wild boar collision

The jeep carrying MP Sanath Jayasuriya collided with a wild boar on the Southern Highway last night, badly damaging the vehicle. However Jayasuriya escaped unhurt.

The incident happened near the 92nd kilometre post at Pinnaduwa. The jeep was reportedly attempting to overtake another vehicle when the collision took place.

Mr. Jayasuriya used another vehicle to travel to Colombo. (D.G.Sugathapala)

I am glad that as a human being sanath is safe and since we have no news on the wild boar only hope its fine. However, regarding the negative comments of the high way all I can say is I wish these people go to countries where the highway is a part and partial of life and check out the number of animals dead. Especially go to Australia take the highway and start counting the number of Kangaroo's sadly lost their lives due to speeding vehicles on the highway. I am not talking of Melbourne/Victoria I am talking of states such as New South Wales and Queensland.
