The 2011 Rugby World Cup kicked off a short while ago, with New Zealand taking on Tonga at Eden Park, Auckland.

The World Cup will go on till October 23, when the final will take place at the same venue. The tournament will feature 20 teams.

The rights have been taken by SLRC but they are still not showing it because of the SL vs Aus tour. CSN tried to get the rights but it was not given to them because SLRC had taken it already.

Why aren't they telecasting it on local TV? A real disappointment for all the die hard rugby fans out there who don't own satellite TV.
