Your so called best referee in Sri Lanka is a bloody cheap cheat........and the coaches are the cheapest in the country so they have the most jobs, cheap things no good, good things no cheap............

    Nodrog Wednesday, 30 May 2012 10:13 AM

If the game was played with gold chains instead of a ball would he have performed better?

shanthapriya Jay Wednesday, 30 May 2012 11:23 AM

BUT DEAR REMEMBER THE SO CALLED SCHOOL HAVE PRODUCED THE BEST REREREE IN SRI LANKA . NOT ONLY THAT , OLD BOYS OF THE SAID SCHOOL ARE COACHING THE RUGGER TEAMS OF VERY POPULAR SCHOOLS .
CAN U REFUSE THEIR SERVICES . WHO IS THE CAPTAIN OF THE CURRENT YEAR LEADING SCHOOL . HE IS THE SON OF FORMER RUGBY CAPTAIN OF THAT UNNAMED SCHOOL.
DONT BLAME THE SCHOOL HE ATTENDED
BY DOING THAT U ARE ADDING FUEL TO THE CURRENT SOCIAL PROBLEMS.
    U ARE SADLY MISTAKEN

    Channa M Wednesday, 30 May 2012 11:25 AM

At least the school you are referring has not produced people who have ruined the whole country, but produced many star rugby players who brought fame to the country.

shanthapriya Jay Wednesday, 30 May 2012 11:31 AM

YOU SEEM TO BE VERY JEALOUS OVER THE CAPABILITIES OF A CERTAIN SCHOOL.
WHAT ABOUT THE POLITICIANS WERE BEHIND THE BARS.
THEY WERE FROM VERY VERY BIG BIG SCHOOLS.

    THEREFORE LEAVE THE SCHOOLS ALONE

    Govindanath Wednesday, 30 May 2012 11:58 AM

It is sad to read this story. This lad, needs help. Needs guidance and counseling. What makes it even worse are some of the comments that seem to come out here. Is this the kind of people our country is made of? Absolutely distasteful.

    lionheart Wednesday, 30 May 2012 12:13 PM

Chain snatching is far better than the pilfering and plundering of money of the tax payers, doesnt it? Those who plunder and pilfer come from 'the school' right???? Is that good enough for you? Also how come the big schools always look for the services of ex players of the above school when coaching is up for grabs. Who are the leading rugby referees in the country? From which school? Just dont sling mud using a single persons mistake on an entire school. Look at the damage that the politicians have done to SL and please tell me which schools they come from? Not to mention the bosses of former giant finance companies.....

Sounds like an addiction problem. Most likely suffers from depression and is self medicating by substance abuse. People like that must be helped by professionals.

    Roshanaly Thursday, 31 May 2012 04:30 AM

Nobody knows the real truth , may be he is forced to plead guilty because he refused to leave CR and join another Club.

    richardson Thursday, 31 May 2012 06:57 AM

Rugby was played by students of respectable ,decent families those days.Don't be afraid to speak the truth.
They say, " Rugby is a rowdy's game played by gentlemen"
    Now it's a gentlemen's game played by rowdies !!!

    Raj Thursday, 31 May 2012 09:13 AM

That phrase was invented by they wanted to keep everything to themselves, sports, key position in offices and they named themselves Gentlemen. The so called respectable families are the ones who sold themselves to foreigners by adopting their religion, their english names and lifestyle so that the can enjoy the luxuries it brings. You may call yourself "Gentlemen" but I call you bum suckers.

    Shiyam Wednesday, 30 May 2012 05:28 AM

He needs to be counseled, and his strengths in rugby to used for the betterment of the game and himself

Gone are the days our sports stars take pride in what they do and behave like role models. It's all about getting quick rich, either by hook or crook.
