victoria Friday, 15 October 2010 07:00 AM
This is what the Human rghts and other groupshas to say about LLRC
“This Commission is nothing more than a cynical attempt by Sri Lanka to avoid a serious inquiry that would bring genuine accountability.”
SO SRI LANKA HAS NOTHING TO LOOSE ???
Wasantha Friday, 15 October 2010 06:04 AM
This commission was appointed to white wash the government. How can you expect them to conduct an impartial investigation?.
Channa Friday, 15 October 2010 05:08 AM
So why they are not testifying...They can go in front of the committee and the Media and tell?....Without issuing Press releases...Use your common sense.
Tissamaharama Friday, 15 October 2010 04:26 AM
Are we, as a nation losing crdibility or whatever that is left of it?
victoria Friday, 15 October 2010 04:17 AM
They do not want to end up with a bullet in their head !!!
Lalin Mendis Friday, 15 October 2010 04:11 AM
The Govt. must have given lump sum to prevent them from giving evidence
Udaya Friday, 15 October 2010 03:32 AM
These so-called Human rights groups know that they and their double games of supporting LTTE terrorism get exposed if they are cross-examined here. So they will never come.
KD Thursday, 14 October 2010 08:16 PM
Perhaps not enough money comes from attending LLRC sessions.
Jagath Gunawardene Thursday, 14 October 2010 05:01 PM
What all these LLRC, Ban-Ki-Moon's panel etc., are trying to achieve? People live on public funds are great in doing research on past which will not help for future developments. Politicians know what and how to do and escape from legal action against them. We, the public make comments which is just read by us and not by any of these institutions or politicians. Just time waste.
Sri Lanka Thursday, 14 October 2010 10:07 AM
They are Human Rights Terrorists. They have lots to hide thats the reason of turning the invitation down.
Tm Abay Thursday, 14 October 2010 12:14 PM
Why R they turnin this down? This is a good chance 4 them 2 prove their point. Unless they don't have a point to prove
spark Thursday, 14 October 2010 11:11 AM
You like to believe in rumours that you like and call it the truth. What you dislike believing and perhaps the truth, you classify as terrorist propaganda or simply false rumours.
spark Thursday, 14 October 2010 11:08 AM
Wait till the country or rather the system of governance starts hating you. Then you would go and apply for migration to those same you called "human right terrorist" countries. Certainly you will ignore applying to those genuine democracies and freindly countries like Iran, Burma, China, Pakistan etc...
fxt Thursday, 14 October 2010 11:05 AM
All these comments are biased depending on which side of the political fence one is.
We do not have comments from people who can think independently.
malkanthi Thursday, 14 October 2010 11:01 AM
If you are blind to the truth, and agree with lies who will go to hell?? Ya as it is one day everything will be at gun point1!
D.P.Liyanage Thursday, 14 October 2010 10:59 AM
These Human Rights Groups are the violators of Human Rights. No one else.
ind Thursday, 14 October 2010 10:39 AM
