Revoke ban on LTTE - VCK

The Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) has called upon the Centre and the US to revoke the ban on the LTTE. A resolution adopted at the party’s Tamils’ sovereignty conference (Tami-zhar Iraiyaanmai Maanadu) at suburban Maraimalainagar Sunday evening with its chief Thol Thirumavalavan in chair, urged the Centre to take steps to ensure non-governmental organisations are involved in the rehabilitation and resettlement of lakhs of internally displaced Tamils in Sri Lanka.

A majority among the 30 resolutions that were passed on the occasion pertained to Sri Lankan Tamils. A resolution urged the United Nations to proclaim Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa and others involved in the ethnic cleansing as war criminals and have them tried in an international court.

It also demanded that the United Nations recognise the Tamil Eelam.

Another resolution condemned the attempts of the Sri Lankan government to “systematically wipe out the Tamils and the language” in the island nation. The dominant dalit party in the state also demanded that the Centre depute Tamil officers to the Indian embassies in countries with large populations of Tamils.

Yet another resolution called upon the state government to make Tamil the medium of instruction in schools and rehabilitate all the slum dwellers in Chennai.

The ltte has been wiped out.Now the Tamils are free,so are the rest. Now the Tamils want a life they have to speak out. No more dragging,no war crimes,no self determination or self rule or separatism. Prefer to turn the clock backward another 30 years. Or move to advance. No Action Talk Only.

you should understand that LTTE was birth of crime committed by all government since the independence of Sri Lanka. If not, do some intellectual research, you will understand better. Not only all government committed crimes against Tamils, but also they use Tamils criminals to commit crime against crime by giving them minstry posts.

Are there any sympathizers( in other countries) for majority of Sri Lankan who suffered lot more than LTTE during past 27 years or more. No one speaks about it. This is indirectly implies that LTTE supporters in other countries try to ruin Sri Lanka.

We should always remember, the root cause is us, Sri Lankan's and India used it, against us... Morning to evening chorus is Tamil, Tamil and nothing but Tamil. Why other ethnicites should not exists in this planet? These fools also should know that US and other countries keeping LTTE ban - just to assist them secretly. If these guys are so worried about SL Tamil, they should have plan to repatriate all to Tamil Nadu, where they can live happily there after. Let this Tamil terrorizing other minorities in the region stop forthwith.
