we have to have a respect to each other and there is freedom to every body .as a first lady we has to respect .as known past people suiside infront of leaders so that reason security has a right to take quick dicision . but not like putting jalle the people or shooting to them.that not a right.i think as security protect the leaders without given any headache to others .

In a lawless country like this, we can not expect human rights.
wipula Tuesday, 24 July 2012 01:39 PM
People should learn to respect respectable people. People should stop coming to Galle Face during VIP s using this area. They will be there only early morning.
Mona Rata Tuesday, 24 July 2012 01:41 PM

sajitha Wednesday, 25 July 2012 04:57 AM
The VIP's should respect the normal people and jump to the sea from Galle face pier!
Abbath Wednesday, 25 July 2012 06:53 AM
She must remember that her husband is merely a servant of the people by whom he was elected. He was sworn in to serve the people!!!

MORNING CONSTITUTIONAL - URBAN DICTIONARY
While most might think of a early morning walk when hearing this term, the term morning constitutional can also be used to define what happens when someone has to take a early morning bowel movement.
Samuel took a newspaper in to read during his morning constitutional.
Arjuna Wednesday, 25 July 2012 09:54 AM
She is very simple. According to a recent interview in one of the Egyptian papers, she does not even like the title of ‘First Lady’ saying," Islam taught us that the next president, is the first servant of Egypt, this means that his wife is also the servant of Egypt. Any title that has been forced upon us must be gone with, it should disappear from my political and social dictionary"

Clearly it is proven that the "Law of the Jungle" is in place.

Why lawless? If he was an LTTE carder he would have exploded him self. The court made the right decision.
dalu Banda Tuesday, 24 July 2012 09:31 AM
what about the human right of the person arrested?
Ruwan Fernando Tuesday, 24 July 2012 09:54 AM
Guilty until proven innocent .... that is the simple principle that seems to have been applied in this case! What a disgrace.
Calistus Jayatilleke Tuesday, 24 July 2012 10:14 AM
This is ridiculous. Are we expected to follow the ancient rules under the Sinhala Kings and jump to the drains whenver a member of the Royal Family passes by.
Nodrog Tuesday, 24 July 2012 10:34 AM
Now not only can we not drive on the roads when these VVIPs are passing we also cannot even walk the same path as them.
Nodrog Tuesday, 24 July 2012 10:36 AM
They want to show that they are the peoples' choice but they don't want the same people even close to them. If so then they should not walk about in public areas.
Ding Dong Tuesday, 24 July 2012 07:59 AM
If that person was standing there the First Lady could have taken a step to a side and walked past that person. Surly the GF walking path is not a narrow stretch of 3 feet wide. That man has a right to stand in that place and nobody got the right to tell him to move out. I beleive it is the First Lady who had obstructed that person who was probably engaging in his customary constitutional at the GF Green.
dave Tuesday, 24 July 2012 10:32 AM
Madam could have speak on behalf of that man and asked the police not to take him to courts. then she will be appreciated by the people.
lankaputha Tuesday, 24 July 2012 10:56 AM
Wow. most comments have Zero negetive feeds.
Janaki Kalansuriya Tuesday, 24 July 2012 11:04 AM
what about his rights? What is the offence in standing still in front of a person. If that person is not stopped from doing so, that person can take another path. Why arrest him if he had no offensive weapons on him?
thaya Tuesday, 24 July 2012 11:09 AM

R.Perera Tuesday, 24 July 2012 11:30 AM
For female VIPs morning constitutional and evening missionary. And for the local Latha, it is the death ritual.
good doc Tuesday, 24 July 2012 11:30 AM
