Port City: AG noticed to appear in Court

The Court of Appeal today noticed the Attorney General to submit a report on April 29 on the now temporarily suspended Port City Project.


The Court made these directions sequent to a writ petition filed by the Center for Environmental Justice which sought an order to suspend all operation of illegal agreements entered into with the Chinese Harbour Engineering Company without following the proper legal procedures as prescribed in the Port Authority Act.  (Lakmal Sooriyagoda)
