He has to go overseas to enjoy. He needs his rest. After all he is a retiring age man. He needs his travels to relax him. That's his priority. So we must not get angry.

The local government elections are held. The leader of the UNP leaves for overseas even before the result are released. It is the duty of the leader to be in Sri Lanka irrespective of whether his party loses or wins. The leader of the UNP has completely lost any connection to grass root level voters. As such defeats at elections is not not a surprise. The matter is margin of the loss.
