A visibly annoyed Ranil Wickremesinghe said at a press briefing today that at a meeting with his Deputy Karu Jayasuriya at Sirikotha this morning both parties had avoided conversation on the run for the party leadership for which both are contesting as candidates.
Opposition Leader Wickremesinghe addressing a media conference today said that the topic was not discussed with Jayasuriya. “I met him in the morning we did not discuss anything about it. That is all I can tell,” Wickremesinghe said.
When asked about his response to the written request made by UNP MP Dayasiri Jayasekara’s asking Wickremesinghe to amend the UNP constitution to give former Army Commander General Sarath Fonseka a top post in the UNP, Wickremesinghe said he had not received such a letter but said that there will not be any amendments made to the party constitution. He refused to comment any further on internal matters on the UNP. (Olindhi Jayasundere)
Dear Sir, Pl. sack all problems creaters. You gave lot of chances to karu Jayasooriya. He left the party one time and went to Mahinda Rajapaksa's lap. Again you gave a chance to KARU JAYASOORIYA come to UNP. i DONT KNOW WHAT TO SAY.

Stop acting like a spoilt child! As smart as you are you still don't realize that you are incompatible for the position you hold and it's time to step down.
