Ranil is not shooting in the dark, but playing for the gallery. Years of election defeats have taught him the art of playing vote bank politics.

This is not at all diplomatic.Thiruvalluvar says "even if anything else is not guarded, guard your tongue" ja kavarainum na kakka, kavakkal sohappar sol ilukkup paddu".

Considering the track record of Ranil Wickramasighe, I doubt about his motivations or plans for sudden outburst here.Never ever he was a ptriotic politician as he wanted to sell country to the west by considering federalism to North and East.We can still remember how he ridiculed armed forces during the humanitarian operation against LTTE to take away the Tamil people in particular and Sri Lankans as whole from terrorism. We have to be very cautious about these comments and wait and see what is his action plan in reality.

What deal are you talking about.? Its very clear that you cannot intrude into neighboring territorial waters and steal ! We have no obligation to make deals with you on what belongs to us. You must be either a crook or a comedian!
