I dont follow any parties in SL but it seems that GOV does not have a hard stand on this issue. I do agree with Ranil, Gov must act now before its too late.

Nimal, what has the appointment of a deputy leader in the UNP got to do with religious tensions in the country which Mr Wickremasinghe is speaking of ?

Ranil was part of a regime that ruled when the 1983 riots where thousands of innocent tamils were butchered, and he simply did not show his regrets at that time. Now he is crying crocodile tears for the muslims.
