United National Party leader Ranil Wickremasighe had discussions with the Indian High Commissioner for Sri Lanka Mr. Ashok K. Kantha at the opposition leader’s official residences in Cambridge Place today. However details of the discussion are unknown, the UNP media unit said.

India should help Sri Lanka to establish democracy and do NOT try to use this an opportunity to take control us. They should help us a genuine neighbouring country. Hope they'll talk with RW and let us bring democracy back.
