Whilst I agree that the army should pull out of the North I think the idea of a seperate state within Sri Lanka is a big no.
As others have pointed out Tamil Nadu is plenty big enough to house what this fool wants.
If 30 yrs of terrorism didn't acheive a seperate state then this idiot must be living on the moon if he thinks it's ever going to happen.
Surely Tamils already have there own state, this Elam if thats what they wish for can be there. I'm sure the world will help with the ferry costs to let them move to there new paradise in India

Both Mr. Karunanidhi and the US Congressman should look at the US civil war where after it ended in 1865 the Victorious Union soldiers stayed in the defeated Confederate states for decades and not just 3 years. TESO (Tamil Eelam Supporters Organization) has been resurrected on April 30th in Tamil Nadu. If anything the SL military should increase their presence in all lands claimed for Eelam and have a permanent presence
