The new initiative intends to provide the public with quality imported products that meet the relevant Sri Lankan standards. Food items, electronic items, raw material and other such imported products will be tested to see if they meet the relevant quality so as to provide the public with a good choice of healthy and high quality goods, the Ministry of Technology and Research said.
