PS member and three others remanded

Chilaw Pradeshiya Sabha UPFA member and three others were remanded till May 25 by the Colombo Chief Magistrate this morning for allegedly assaulting a police constable and obstructing the duties of the police inside the Mulleriyawa police station.

It is reported that the constable was assaulted when he asked the UPFA member to take his vehicle away which was parked on the pavement in the Mulleriyawa town. (Farook Thajudeen)
