Professor Mendis Rohanadeera an eminent academic of the country passed away. He was 80 years at the time of his demise.

Prof. Rohanadeera was a lecturer at the University of Sri Jayawardenapura and was considered an authority on many subjects including Budhdhist culture, archaeology and history. The SLBC announced his demise this morning.
