The most common means of communication is by speaking to each other. The next is transport. Before launching Satellites, it is better to concentrate on public transport with is in tatters today.

    Where are the CTB buses?

Calistus Jayatilleke Wednesday, 28 November 2012 05:36 AM

Let us all buy Go-karts duty free. That will teach a good lesson to these private bus operators.

    Deepal Wednesday, 28 November 2012 07:15 AM

The comman man cant buy a motorcycle due to high cost and the govt is helping the private bus owners but the passengers are having a hard time

These are the issues that the Government should look into before going on to do bigger things. Its best that they clean up the mess here in Sri Lanka before thinking of peaking into the outer world!

Moreover the Government should look into the possibility of overhauling all the CTB buses that lie in the Depots, such as the Maharagama and Kesbewa Depots. the money that is spent on unimportant things could be used for the more important things such as overhauling CTB buses and not putting those who elected these so called MPs, into inconvenience.

Today most schools started their third term exams and I can just imagine how many school children would have been inconvenienced by this strike. The School Children of today are the Future of Sri Lanka.

Over to you Mr. Transport Minister.

It so much disheartening to read the news nowadays. Rape, Murder, Kidnap, donkey politicians, rockets, no law and order.

if this is what the our rulers want this country to be....... then all of us needs to think.

if we let this bull****t gonne go for some more years, mind you its our children who will suffer as much as we do now.

either we stand up against these elements once and for all like what happened in middle east or just keep reading and do not comment, coz commenting only adds those frustration.

They are striking because there are will be few new buses on the road?

Dear government or people, Please Defeat these Private bus Terrorists. These people dont deserve to own their buses. Please Confiscate all the striking buses and give them to non-terrorist people.
