President Mahinda Rajapaksa who is set to participate in the International Economic Forum, landed in St. Petersburg today and will meet a number of Heads of States, including Russia and China.The President was received at the Pulkovo International Airport in St. Petersburg by the Deputy Governor Sergei Aleksei Ivanovich.

Usually a visiting president should be received by the president of the host country .But this was only received by the Prime Minister ah no mistake Foreign Minister ,Nope The Governor of St.Petersberg .No Wait a minute Not even the Governor It was just the Deputy Governor.
