I salute the teacher, when discipline is on a nose dive, teachers of such quality are very rare. We can get so many hundreds of such indisciplined politicians but not genuine teachers of your nature. Madam, do not worry, millions of public citizens value your efforts, only hooligans will appreciate the idiotic politician. You are simply great madam! Miniister of education should consider you for a merit award.
Chams Monday, 17 June 2013 08:14 AM
This is the level of deterioration of civil law and order. If this case takes its normal route of justice, no one has to get involved. This call means, if President is not involved, her case will be in the bin OR she will never ever gets justice.
Namal Baby Monday, 17 June 2013 08:16 AM

While President's act is nothing beyond a political drama, I dont think it's an issue of the language.
duracharya Monday, 17 June 2013 06:19 AM
Dear Buffaloa,
You dont justify your name either. I call you idiot. President do not have to call every victim but the teacher. Most of the victims you mentioned were comes within the criminal code. But what was done by this idiot MP is unbelievable in civil society. Okay SF has done in army similar things which are also not ethical but. Military men can bear it.
Yes president called because its very sensitive. This guys should be puniched and send him at leat two years of imprisonment and should never be given again nomination
Sally Monday, 17 June 2013 09:39 AM
Don't you think all these idiots' misbehaviour is due to lack of law and order in this country, then who should be punnished first?
Dilhani Monday, 17 June 2013 09:44 AM
Our president has solutions to all the problems.
Minister Monday, 17 June 2013 09:57 AM

meema Monday, 17 June 2013 05:45 AM
President will not need to call victims and assure justice in this manner if he can restore rule of law in this country. His actions endorse that there is no law and order in this country for citizens unless he intervenes. what a show by these politicians..........we citizens are treated donkeys,
Game Man Monday, 17 June 2013 05:31 AM

Dave Monday, 17 June 2013 05:46 AM
My friend you must implement rule in this country. You must punish the culprits. To date you have not punished even single culprit who committed crime instead you gave a pardon to them.
BuffaloaCitizen Monday, 17 June 2013 05:44 AM
Will he dare speak if this same incident happened to a tamil teacher?
MaRa avatar Monday, 17 June 2013 05:46 AM

Thank you all thousand times for offering the general public to display their opposition to this horrific incident.Keep up your great task.
ANTON Monday, 17 June 2013 05:33 AM
SIR, CAN'T YOU GIVE AN ORDER TO WHOLE POLITICO FAMILY TO KNEEL BEFORE THE TEACHER.
Porky Pig Monday, 17 June 2013 05:45 AM
"What for the calling now". A country totally mismanaged where the rule of the jungle applies. Sorry I may be wrong there, there are rules in the jungle.

Time to kick this regime out. This can be easily done by kicking Ranil out and then it just a matter of time.
Dilu Monday, 17 June 2013 05:57 AM
I doubt. He also called investigations and for the justice for the killing of Lasantha, bomb explosion near Wijedasa Rajapakshe's home, and many more killings of media personel.
Kodituwakkuarachchi Monday, 17 June 2013 06:03 AM
I hope our president pays personal attention to bigger crimes murders and kidnappings, extortion, etc. in addition to calling who have been forced to kneel and those who have heard gunshots near their houses, etc.
kautilya Monday, 17 June 2013 06:02 AM
A cheap approach to get popular by a Head of State. There is no need to telephone the victim but show the world that you are for the rule of law and should have instruct SLFp secretary to sack or immediately suspend the culprit from the SLFP.
sunilperera Monday, 17 June 2013 06:04 AM
We have witnessed several incidents of this nature. It is he who has given the courage to politicians to involve in this kind of activities without shame. He would call now and then there would be a press release saying that the teacher had forgiven the culprit. In the capital there is a king and his loyalists and in the villages too there are kings and their loyalist thugs.. and they are governing all of us... Good country!!
PRASANNAJIT Monday, 17 June 2013 06:06 AM
This is all shape talk he does. He should have implemented strict discipline among his gang who are called politicos.
