Shivajilingam told the Daily Mirror today that he took Prabhakaran’s mother Parvathipillai Velupillai to Singapore recently and handed her over to some of her distant relatives. The relatives are expected to take her to Malaysia from there.
Prabhakaran’s sister is expected to pick her mother from Malaysia to be taken to Canada. Mrs. Vellupillai is now 79 years old. (KB)
