Do you know they do speed checks on the Chilaw Puttalam road. Policeman are from a station just before Puttalam (when travelling from COL). 72kmph is allowed and if you are 74kmph you are caught. And they will charge you saying dangerous driving. They do not say speeding. But if its a government vehicle or a Big 4 wheeler (ministry Type) even above 100kmph they do not stop. Here ofcourse money talks. Hope Senior SSP's ASP's in the area are aware of this highway robbery.

Attention for Sir IGP, it s better conduct a well planned investigation into the background of police recruits before they join Police. not just about height 5.6 feet. all these malpractices because of the inefficiency personnel management within the department. Don't attract thugs any more into the department. It seems to be many thugs in the department who tarnish Police image.
